When Jesus was asked what was the greatest commandment He replied, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.” One of the greatest ways to live out these two commandments is to join a Group. At Legacy, Groups reflect the Biblical teaching and relationships of the 1st Century Church found in Acts 2:42 which says, “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”
Are you looking for a way to get connected to other people in our church? If you want to grow in your relationship with Jesus and take next steps, you need people surrounding you to encourage you, challenge you, and be there for you. Groups are a great opportunity for you to get connected to our church and take your relationship with God to the next level!
Groups are all about meeting people where they are and taking next steps together. Some of our groups meet every week, some every other week. At each meeting you will have a leader that facilitates the discussion and offers up questions for the group to answer. The goal for all of your group meetings is to identify your next step and encourage each other in taking next steps.
We offer groups for: Students, Men & Women, Married Couples, Coed, & College/Young Adults.
We believe that the right group for you is the one that you can commit to being at regularly. It's been said, "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." We want you to go far in your spiritual growth, so we encourage everyone to take their time when trying to find the right group.
Because we treat our groups like Spiritual Families, existing groups usually grow and then multiply after a year or two. But every group is different, and if for any reason it looks like a group isn’t a good fit, we'll always work with you to try and find another one.
Groups meet at Legacy and in homes at different times all throughout the week. We will help you find a group that is near you and works with your schedule or you can find out more on our Groups Finder page.
