A NOTE FROM THE ELDERS:

August 26, 2020

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

Recently, Elder Roger Anderson reminded us in the communion meditation how blessed we have been over the past few months.  We have had baptisms, new members, healings, reconciliations, answers to prayer and more.  God is faithful.

As Covid cases continue in Georgia, we want to take a moment to provide you with some updates and reminders to help us navigate through coming weeks.

With the delay in “in-person” school in Coweta, we have decided to push back Sunday School activities at Legacy until October 4th. Nursery will still be provided for children aged 0-4 years old during the second service.  In the meantime, we will continue with our Adult only and Family services combined with our online service.  These seem to be working quite well.  So well, in fact, that we have seen a steady rise in attendance and participation.  As such, we ask that you make an effort to sit in seats that closely match your group numbers.  As our attendance increases, it becomes a bit more challenging to find seating for larger groups if those limited seats are occupied by couples that could sit elsewhere.  Not everybody likes to sit up front but we promise Joel won’t bite.

As a reminder, we ask that you continue to sanitize your hands upon entering the church and that you exit immediately after the service.  We recognize the desire to socialize after the service but we are not out of the woods yet with this virus and would hate to see an outbreak now due to becoming complacent.  Just hang in there a little bit longer.

If there is a need that you have, please let us know.  We are here to help in any way we can.  We love you and pray for you regularly.

In His service,

Your Legacy Elders.
