I hope you realize how important you are.
"The most important social influence in shaping young people's religious lives is the religious life modeled and taught to them by their parents."*
This, of course, is of no surprise to God. He instructs Moses in Deuteronomy 6:4-7:
"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, The Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up..."
Parents are uniquely designed and equipped to be the primary faith trainers of their children in the home. This is something we recognize and take very seriously. Our experience reveals to us that students that have positive, biblical influences at home and through mentor relationships at church are stronger in their faith upon graduation.
We ask that all of our students have a medical release form on file for our staff in case of an emergency. If you do not have a form on file for your student, aren't sure if you do, or have updated medical information please download, print, and return the completed form to the church office. Click HERE for the form.
