SUPPORT SUNDAY

On the first Sunday of every month we choose a local organization to support. We ask people to bring in specified items and drop them off in the missions crate in the lobby! LOCAL OUTREACH PARTNERS

I-58 Mission - The I-58 Mission, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Christian service agency formed to partner with the community to answer the call of Isaiah 58 to 1) set the oppressed free 2) share food 3) provide shelter and 4) clothe those in need. More.

BackPack Buddies - A community-driven effort to feed economically disadvantaged children in our school system. Each child in the program receives a backpack filled with nutritious, self-serve, child-friendly food for the weekend. Activities and summer lunches are also provided three times a week at the local park. More.

Sleep In Heavenly Peace - We're a group of volunteers dedicated to building, assembling, and delivering top-notch bunk beds to children and families in need. Our organization has grown steadily over time, and we're working on opening more chapters in different states to serve more people. No kid sleeps on a floor in our town.  More. 

Children's Village at Christian City - A children’s facility at Union City that is for children that need a place to live either for the short or long term. More.

Armed Forces Mission -  Individuals that accept the Challenge know that INTERVENTION SAVES LIVES! Together we are building a culture of mental health as Community Gatekeepers who are ready, willing, and able to serve individuals at risk of suicide. od is sent home to disadvantaged children during the school’s extended holidays. Edify Teen Life Center- A local residential program for pregnant teens, young mothers, and their infants between the ages of 0 to 21 years. The program accepts pregnant teens who are from the community, and in State Custody (foster care). The program provides a stable and nurturing, home-like environment, that is a safe haven for young mothers and their infants. The residents have access to pre-natal and post-natal care and delivery, and are trained in parenting, assisted with academic achievement, and have the opportunity to explore a career, employment and/or to further their education. Midwest Food Bank-  As a faith-based organization, it is the mission of Midwest Food Bank to share the love of Christ by alleviating hunger and malnutrition locally and throughout the world and providing disaster relief; all without discrimination. Their vision is to provide industry-leading food relief to those in need while feeding them spiritually.

Our Father's House - Every Monday and Wednesday during the school year from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Freeman Sasser Building in Senoia., Volunteers provide a mentoring program for disadvantaged children in the Senoia area.
